As a Mobile Engineer at Base, you will contribute to products where AI is not a concept, but a real capability embedded in day-to-day operations - supporting automation, insights, and smarter workflows for businesses.

WHAT YOU DO

Join the pioneering team building Base’s next-generation Business Super App, where you will directly develop the mobile application that serves as the single entry point for millions of business users.
You will shape a seamless, high-performance, and AI-powered mobile experience that redefines how enterprises operate.

1. Platform Engineering (Super App & Micro-Frontend)

• Mobile Technical Leadership: Build high-performance mobile applications using React Native, delivering fast and smooth user experiences across both iOS and Android.
  
  
• Super App Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of Super App architecture (Micro-Frontend Architecture) on mobile, enabling flexible and independent integration of multiple product modules (Mini-Apps).
  
  
• Performance Optimization: Proactively analyze and optimize application performance to support millions of concurrent users with near-instant response times.
  
  

1. Innovation with AI Technology

• AI Integration: Collaborate closely with Backend and Data Science teams to integrate AI-driven features (e.g., virtual assistants, data insights, automation) into the mobile experience, creating strong competitive advantages for the product.
  
  
• Adoption of New Technologies: Research, evaluate, and propose the latest React Native libraries and mobile technologies to keep the platform at the forefront of mobile innovation.
  
  

1. End-to-End Mobile Product Development

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  
  
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to turn product ideas into reality, ensuring both visual quality and exceptional user experience.
  
  
• Perform thorough debugging and testing to ensure high application quality before release.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for Mobile Engineers who are driven to build high-impact technology products.

• At least 1+ year of experience in mobile application development.
  
  
• Strong fundamentals in programming, including Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  
  
• Hands-on experience with React Native and its ecosystem (e.g. Redux / MobX, React Navigation).
  
  
• Product Mindset: A strong sense of product ownership, a user-centric approach, and a passion for building high-quality, scalable products.
  
  
• Web Foundations (nice to have): Knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with state management tools; and an understanding of Microservices / Micro-Frontend architectures are strong advantages.
  
  
• Proactive Learning: A strong self-learning mindset, with the initiative to explore and apply new technologies - especially emerging trends in AI/Machine Learning within mobile applications.
