ROLE OVERVIEW
Base.vn is seeking a Global Sales Director to lead international market entry, build strong commercial presence, and drive scalable revenue growth across multiple countries. The role owns global go-to-market strategy, enterprise acquisition, brand development, and the build-out of international sales operations.⑊
KEY OBJECTIVES

Develop and execute global go-to-market and market expansion strategies.

Establish Base’s presence in priority markets and secure steady enterprise revenue growth.

Build a scalable sales operating model, including processes, tools, and performance management.

Build relationships with enterprises, industry networks, and strategic partners to accelerate growth.

Ensure predictable execution, reporting, and continuous performance optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Market Strategy & Expansion
-
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-opportunity markets.

Build structured market entry plans including segmentation, messaging, positioning, pricing, and competitive strategy.

Continuously refine strategy based on customer feedback and market data.
2. Sales Organization & Execution
-
Recruit and develop strong sales talent in target markets.

Define and implement sales process, KPIs, CRM standards, incentive models, and productivity metrics.

Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews to drive accountability and consistency.
3. Enterprise Acquisition & Business Development

Lead the enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Build partnerships with local businesses, multinational firms, associations, business chambers, and industry networks.

Accelerate deal flow and improve revenue, conversion rate, and time-to-close per market.
4. Brand Building & Market Presence

Strengthen Base’s visibility through events, workshops, speaking engagements, and ecosystem participation.

Work with cross-functional teams to localize sales materials and case studies.
5. Reporting & Insights

Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and full visibility into global pipeline.

Present performance results and insights to leadership on a regular basis.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Experience
-
7–12+ years in B2B/enterprise sales leadership, ideally in SaaS or technology.

Proven track record in market expansion or launching new territories.

Experience building and managing distributed sales organizations.
2. Skills & Competencies

Strong enterprise selling capability and structured go-to-market thinking.

Ability to build systems: GTM models, sales playbooks, hiring frameworks, KPI tracking.
